We trained in London in the 1990s, where high-spec residential work was the baseline. We brought that standard to Wanaka in 2003 and haven't lowered it since.

Our Process
There’s a lot that goes into a good plastering job that often isn’t seen. Taking the time to prepare surfaces properly, understanding how materials will behave, and knowing when to move and when to wait all make a difference. It’s a process that relies on experience and judgement as much as skill, and it’s that considered approach that carries through to the final result.
Our experience in the trade has allowed us to develop a strong sense of timing, technique, and attention to detail, so we know when to move forward and when to take a step back to get things exactly right.

Yes. A single patch repair gets the same care and attention as a full house. Job size doesn't change the standard. If you've got a hole in the wall, a crack that's been bothering you, or a room that needs making good before painting — ring us.
Southern Style Interiors started in London in 1997, where Leon and Jason worked together on high-spec residential projects for years. Leon moved to Wanaka in 2003, Jason followed in 2004, and we've been based here ever since. That's nearly three decades in the trade — most of it in two of the most demanding building markets going.
Level 4 as standard — the benchmark required for semi-gloss and gloss paints, and the level that exposes every flaw a lesser finish would leave behind. If your project specifies Level 5, get in touch and we can discuss.
The Southern Lakes builds up fast and we're often booked weeks ahead during peak season. If you have a project coming up, contact us sooner rather than later. A quick call is all it takes to get on the schedule.
